EPICURE IS BACK
After a one year hiatus, my favourite Essex County festival has returned.
Festival Epicure, is back this year, with loads of new restaurants that have recently joined the Essex County food scene.

For those who might have been living under a rock in recent years (or just moved to the area), Festival Epicure is a celebration of food, wine, and music. The festival is held annually at Windsor, Ontario's riverfront plaza. Local restaurants set up booths offering wine, and tapas-style selection of their menus at a really affordable price. This provides a great opportunity to try an assortment of different restaurant all in one go :)
The festival runs the rest of this weekend Saturday July 9th 1pm-1am, and Sunday July 10th, 2pm-11pm. Admission is $7.50 per day for adults with children under 15 accompanied by an adult are FREE!
In past years, the event's ticket sales benefited the Kidney Foundation, but this year the charity is one a little closer to home-- Pathway to Potential, Windsor & Essex County's Poverty Reduction Strategy.
I've been fortunate enough to get two days off this weekend (Thanks Matt), and will be heading up to Windsor tomorrow with some mates to check out what's on offer this year. Don't worry, I'll be sharing the recap right here on Diner's Dish.
